Dude, it's the weather. There's no guarantees in it!!! Can you imagine how weathly one would be if they were able to guarantee weather forecasting?

Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Val Verde, Kerr, Edwards, Real, and Blanco counties 6AM Tue. -12AM Wed

Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Gillespie county including the city of Fredericksburg. 6AM Tues - 12AM Wed

I wish I had their job
guessing what the weather is going to be like in the next few days with the help of a computer and you don't even have to get it right

I'm not a plant expert, so I am not sure how cold it has to be to damage your palm trees. However, I can tell you that we're setting up for a moderate freeze Tuesday night/Wednesday morning with lows bottoming out between 29-31 in the city, and a couple degrees cooler in the outlying areas.

Regarding my thoughts on the snowfall event: I am still very confident we'll see snow, and even a few moderate to potentially heavy snow showers scattered tomorrow afternoon ending by the evening. Accumulations aren't going to be significant because the ground is still warm and temperatures during the snowfall should remain above freezing.
