I'm thinking something more Benny Hill-ish would be appropriate, at least as background music.

It's unbelievable that this guy essentially admitted to sexually harassing (probably) dozens of women and yet he will NOT quit, even in the face of most of his supporters asking him to do so. Politics is a dirty business but Mayor Filner somehow manages the tough task of giving politicians a bad name.

It just shows his arrogance. I'm sure he feels that he did nothing wrong. Anyways, two weeks of shock therapy or whatever he's going in for will fix him right up.

Monday dawns in San Diego, the blues of the ocean waves gently lap the sandy beaches, the view from the parks around the city are lovely and some spectacular, I 15 is open again and the temperature is temperate.

And the man who is getting more attention than any person deserves dresses for work. He selects the soft blue tie though he wants to wear the red one. Screw 'em he says to himself. Sure I touched the babes but what man who is a man would not. He looks over his dresser and selects the gold watch with a hint of irony as time, he knows may come visit his door shortly in the form of a new subpoena. He whistles for Billie his aide for another cup of black coffee. "Going to be another bob and weave day"....shouts Billie as the satellite trucks and the press outside reveal their presence. " Can't even frickin' go to church" he mutters under his breath"....

Billie enters and helps the big man arrange his tie, brushes off the back of the suit and looks the man in the eye. "Go get 'em Captain..." Billie coos. "You bet I will" with teeth flashing that winning smile. He grabs Jasper by the shoulders and plants a hard one on her cheek gives her a pat of the backside and heads down the stairs to the car. She smiles. "That's my guy" she sighs as she straightens out the bed.

Another day in the spotlight.
