What is the weather like year-round in Spring Valley? Also, is it relatively a safe place to live?

Hot low income inland city with a high crime rate. Some nicer areas but a whole lot of it is marginal

Spring Valley has its good areas and bad areas. I’ve lived up on dictionary hill for the last 8 years. Very peaceful and quiet up here. We’ve left cars unlocked and windows down and never had any problems.

Weather, well it is inland so it gets a bit warmer here than the coastal towns In summer. Had a few 110* days last summer that were pretty gnarly. But we hid inside and cranked the AC.

I’ll have a nice 3 bed, 2.5 bath, 1,000 sq ft house going on the market here in just a few weeks.

One of my friend's just bought a house in Spring Valley off of Calavo Drive near San Carlos Drive, a few blocks away from Hwy. 94. Is this a bad area?

It's mostly residential, older area with larger ranchette-style lots. Commercial drags are run down but it's not a bad area. Some large, nice homes in that area too.

Only one bedroom is really on the small side. The master and the second bedroom are quite a good size. It s a it over 1k sq ft in actuality. Have our listing agent coming in a few to discuss what we will list it for. Zestimate says it’s worth double what we paid for it 8 years ago. It’s been a great, comfortable house for our family of 4. But we are moving on to much bigger digs. Moving to a 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 5500 sq ft home on 24 acres.
