Hi,

What's the dating scene like in SD for single women in their early thirties? Are there any monthly mixers or something of the sort that you know about..thx

Hmmm... not many replies here, huh? I'll throw my 2 cents in the ring...

There are lots of activities that can provide ways to meet people, but I find a surprising number of 30-something guys go out to meet people at a club or something. Personally, I met my SO through online dating, but I work in a female-dominated field and wasn't interested in meeting anyone out at the bars.

There's something here called Vavi, which tends to be for 20's/30's (social running clubs, kickball, softball, etc.) Vavi - sports clubs san diego, san diego social clubs . The Sierra club has a 20's/30's singles group 20s & 30s Single Sierrans, San Diego Chapter, Sierra Club, and there is an active tri-athlete club Triathlon Club of San Diego where active-type people meet up. These people used to do some single's wine tasting events and still may (I've only ever been there on a date ) Wine Vault Bistro - Fine Dining and Wine Dinners in San Diego

I find a surprising number of my fun, pretty, smart, late-20s/early-30s female friends struggle to find a guy with whom to have a serious relationship....

All a single woman has to do in San Diego is step outside her door.

If a woman can't hook up here, then I don't know where. Maybe San Jose? If you don't mind geeks.

San Diego is rated one of the easiest cities for a girl to get a guy. Since it's a big military town, the males outnumber the females. It's been jokingly said that the theme song for San Diego should be "It's Raining Men", which is the only kind of rain you see a lot of there.
