Haven't posted here in a while. Congrats to the Giants ! Great season, almost a completely different group of guys from 2010, yet they still have that great pitching and clutch timely hitting. Giving up 6 runs in 4 games is incredible ! Great win, and I'm happy for my favorite city !

what a joke. Braun got completely robbed. Posey wasn't even the best catcher this season

Miguel Cabrera and Mike Trout on the other hand...

Led the National League in batting average, over 100+ RBI's on one of the lowest scoring teams, and called some great games for his pitchers all season long. I'd say Posey deserved the MVP.

Catcher and cleanup hitter for the WS champs is compelling enough, without even reviewing the stats. Now the Giants have to figure out how badly they want to keep him for the next 4-5 year$.

... the brewers didn't even make the post season, 14 games behind cinci in the nl central (that's why braun won the mvp over kemp last year, the brewers played in meaningful games all season while the dodgers finished 11 games out of first place). and the award isnt 'best catcher' either, it's most valuable player, and posey was more valuable to the giants than braun to milwaukee and molina to the cards. when cabrera got booted for roids posey's elevated his play and helped carry the team and win the division by 8 games.
everybody's seen how valuable he is to the giants. gets called up in 2010, helps lead the team to WS
goes down last year with an injury, giants don't make the post season
comes back in 2012, giants win it all again. most valuable player

NL mvp, comeback player of the year, batting title, world series champion. posey >>>>>

the giants, are those the fellas up in frisco who stab each other in the hindquarters with horse steroids so they can swing their little sticks and play with their little balls?
