I think the real kicker of the situation is that the last person I talked to on this topic who turned out to be a few years younger than I am, mentioned something to the fact that the older we get, the harder it is to develop friendship. And you need some type of friendship for a relationship. Once women get past their mid-20's they give you the stare of death if you even look at them.
================================================== =========================

You do speak some truth. The ladies near 30 are desparately rushing to find a mate to be "taken cared of", financially so they can have babies and before they get too fat and undesireable. The biological time clock is real, ask any MD.

The ladies who are over the hill in their mid to late 30s feel they have missing the boat and so every guy they meet is deemed "not good enough" to her unreasonably high standards so she has a built in excuse when people ask, "Gee, youre 38, arent you going to settle down and start a family?" These women are the worst, avoid them like the plague.

The 18-21 year old college set are the most free-spirited and just trying to find themselves, yet they will fall out of love as fast as they fall into love. So you may meet a 19 yr old coed in art class but she will dump you the next day when a hunk asks for her number.

The 40-50 yr old ladies know they missed the boat, are angry at the world, and are trying to make peace with themselves so they could be unsettled.

So your best bet is the 18-21 yr old age group but she should be fat and ugly, giving you a better chance. The thin 18-21 are in high demand and you'll have to go to the end of the line.

I think you want a certain type of person or group in the 18-21 ages that's like free-spirited and loves non-alcoholic enjoyments in life with random fun stuff to do and talk on philosophical conversations for hours at a time. A psychology or special ed or pre-med or marine bio type

I took a few classes at South Lake Tahoe CC, and would estimate around half (if not more) of the students were over 30. At least they're trying to accomplish something, no matter how "old" they are at the time.
I never said anything about straight to college but if someone is just starting college at 36 they may have other issues. I'm going back to school myself but already have a masters.

Unfortunately, as I said before, approach wise that demographic at least for me tends to be the most friendliest. It honestly feels that for women around my age, they've kinda moved on. Which of course, does suck.
Dating someone at the same experience level is more important than age. The worst thing an inexperienced kind hearted man can do is get sucked into a women his own age who's had a lot of use and just looking for some inexperienced guy to exploit.

They're in college or Senior year High school, start looking dude.

This is sarcasm by the way, just in case something happens and KTVU news shows footage of this thread with my horrifying words: "As we can see here, Dragonfly was encouraging criminal behavior!"

In all seriousness though, nothing is that appealing about girls that young and naive, try something around mid-twenties or higher, that's the good years.

I'm 39 and my wife is 26. It can be done. My wife's parents are the same age as my parents - she's a lot more mature than I had expected when we first started dating, and I get along well with her mom.

I don't get why a lot of posters are calling him creepy. 18yrs old makes a person an LEGAL ADULT.

How is that creepy?

My squeeze is 18 years younger than me. Been together 18 years now. Since she was 31.

An ex-brother-in-law of mine married a gal 22 years younger. That was over 30 years ago.

Another old gal friend married a guy 12 years her junior. That was also about 30 years ago. Happy as clams at high tide still today.

I gotta list long as my arm of more.
