I think this project will make a huge impact. It will add 20 thousand people mostly upper middle class to a city that is very working class. There were plans for a state college there.

I've lived in LA all of the public middle and high schools on the westside are very Ghetto. That's a very wealthy area.there isn't forced busing but volunteer busing destroys schools as well.

How about some substantive comments and logic, rather than throwaway screeds?

And white people fleeing schools because of a few students of color speaks poorly about the white parents, not the students of color - who often receive a lot of hostility for stepping onto a predominately white campus:

LAUSD, is down down to something like 8% white even the high schools on the westside are around 15% white. There are a lot of illegals and gang members at Westside high schools. I remember reading a while back that Chinese in SF were complaining about bussing into their schools from the ghetto.

Instead is busing, we should segregate schools based on test scores. Just like we segregate colleges based on SAT scores. That way the nerds can be with their own kind, the athletes with their own, the gangbangers with their own etc.

End bussing, let people put their kids in whichever school they can based on grades and test scores. Same as universities.
