I hope they enjoy the fallout from their choice, considering the man they picked has zero political experience, a history of financial blunders and bankruptcies (still waiting on those tax returns btw), narcissistic personality disorder, a huge inferiority complex, a short temper, and the people he's choosing to surround himself with are GOP big shots who are the exact opposite of what he promised to deliver to America. The republicans better act fast and try to pass all of that crazy stuff he promised to the people, or we will see congress and the senate flip bright blue come 2018.

Last night was a huge wake up call for me over how many miserable people there are across the country looking to blame the government for all of their problems. Some of it is absolutely justified, while a lot of it was just brought to light because the guy they knew from TV promised them a return to the good ole days.

Since I was clearly so wrong in my predictions of what would happen, I guess I'll just watch and see if America burns to the ground as quickly as I think it will. I hope I'm wrong again.
If approved for a cabinet position, Flynn would be the first ever, known Kremlin mole in the White House.

You write in so called "Alt-Right" code language. Even Glenn Beck .. yep, you read that right, Glenn Beck ...
has been warning about this cancer. It seems "Right" in external appearance but if you scratch the surface, like Valley Fever, a very old disease from many years ago presents itself. The disease was known as Soviet Communism. "Alt-Right" is the 21st Century Commintern, and this time around, the Western World may actually get conquered.

Yep. And you can gaurentee he's going to plant the seeds to put his children everywhere before he gets out of office. I can see it now: Donald Trump Jr. (Aka big game trophy hunter) for president in 2032.

Whom was Bush II quoting, when he said after 9/11, "You're either with us, or you're against us"?

I don't care about what Leftists want to or don't want to discuss. I only care about what I want to discuss.

Why are you in such denial about Russian interference? Are you another Russian troll? Even our own Intelligence agencies have confirmed Russian interference.

Russian trolls have perfected the art of cruising the sadly debased corridors of the Western Right, or whatever are the struggling remnants.

(BTW - just a rumination, a mere 5 - 10 years ago I was still in the mode of thinking that the traditional Comintern infiltrating the Western Left was a thing ... and it might well have been ... however, the big thing now is the "Eurasianist" version of the Comintern infiltrating the Western Right or what now seems to pass for it)

Got reading comprehension? I clearly stated in those Northern states it's a mixture of the formerly well paid workers and white nationalists. Typically, in places like the burbs of Milwaukee, Detroit, Toledo, Cleveland, etc, its formerly well paid workers, the ones who went for Obama. Out in the country of those same states, it's similar to The South - KKKers, etc. I clearly noted the two distinct demographics.

These same people, many now out of work, gave Trump Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan for ****s sake. Yet here you guys are continuing the same tired tactic of "You're racist, you're a KKK member, you hate black people and muslims" marginalizing their needs and life situations, just like Obama has done for 8 years.

You guys don't even realize that your viciousness is what created Trump in the first place, and in turn gave the Republicans the senate, the house, and the Supreme court, and IMO will get him re-elected if you and your ilk don't change your ways.
No one had to go to any playbook. David Duke did that for them by announcing to the nation the day after the election that "our people" (his words) played an integral part in achieving the election results. Also, according to analysis on news broadcasts on the evening of election day, the Holy Roller vote contributed as much as 33% in some states. To what extent those two constituencies overlap is not known.

Since you're touting working class whites, later unemployed, who voted for Obama, be sure to note that the reason Obama couldn't roll out his jobs/infrastructure plan is that Republicans in Congress blocked it, ostensibly because they "believed" (hyuk hyuk, nudge, wink) the budget couldn't afford it. Now, suddenly, it can, even in the fact of a Trump tax cut? yeah, sure...

And btw, Trump's own viciousness created Trump. It's his stock-in-trade.

I think you are a bit off here. What I find is those here in the Bay Area who are the most critical of the so called Fly Over actually hail from there. They left because they were odd outs. I don't blame them. Given how these individuals are wired, they actually did not fit in "back home." Another subgroup are from the East Coast but the East Coast is not a single massive liberal enclave. There are many communities of socially conservative blue collar people on the East Cost. Many who do not fit into such communities have moved here.

Given that friends and family have had unforeseen arguments and neighbors are being downright hostile during election season, I wouldn't say that Bay Area people are never challenged ideologically. However, because there are a lot of people, it can become very easy to self-select group environments.

I just can't support redistribution from me and my fellow coastal high income earner's pockets to these poor working whites in the Midwest. It's their own fault they couldn't thrive and now they are asking for a handout in the form of trade wars to get their jobs back.

Wouldn't be fair to get them dependent on a government intervention. Plus, the federal government forcing private companies to run their business a certain way and telling them who/where to hire hurts our capitalist freedoms. They should pull themselves up by their bootstraps, that's how you create true independence.

Why should us rich blue states and blue cities give up our hard earned income gains to help out fellow Americans in flyover country? It's a free country, they should have just become more skilled and moved to California and New York where the jobs are being created. Class warfare and socialism I tell ya.
