Yes, because Trump would want his face on a building surrounded by human feces.

BTW all you've done with your denigration of Trump's physical appearance is prove yourself worthy of the same criticism of Trumps kindergarten style of insults. Congratulations, you and Donald share something special LOL.

Wow, it's so sad that you can't see that this whole thing is one gigantic PR stint by the elites, and using this poor girl to further their agenda of complete control and domination of the poor folks. Trust me, she didn't get where she is on her own, it's all manufactured BS. A really true courageous hero for young girls is Malala Yousafzai.

Yeah, no kidding, about no comparison at all to Malala. That really took guts.
All Greta risked was getting seasick on the boat over to the USA.
Malala risked and probably still risks being attacked by Islamic extremists anywhere.

Watch Greta is going to become a mega millionaire from her “sacrafice” and end up buying a private mega yacht like most climate change crying celebs not realizing that their private jets and yachts are causing harm.

“ We have to make sure that they cannot do that,” Thunberg told the crowd. “We will make sure they, that we put them against the wall, and that they will have to do their job and to protect our futures.” -Greta

Such a hero! Lets round up our politicians like the Nazis rounded up Jews

Apparently it was all lost in translation.
She's such a sweetie.

Do you ever make the slightest effort to parse out the truth in stories you read?

But hey, for a minute there it fit your preferred narrative, right? Nothing like a shot of baseless hyperbole to make a guy feel righteous, eh?

What makes you so sure I am unaware of the machinations behind marketing Greta?

What “elites” do you refer to?

Sounds like you have a conspiracy fantasy to share: “complete control and domination of the poor folks.” lol. That description of power “elites” rather more fits the fossil fuel industry ”elites” and 1%ers in general, no? To say nothing of the latest chapter of rwnj politicians such as the POTUS and his court.

Malala? Certainly inspiring and gutsy. Nice and appropriate of you to recognize that in a young gal. Curious that you can’t imagine those qualities in another young gal ... but, of course, Greta’s sensitivities are with issues you ridicule, so it’s not possible she is similarly sincere in her feelings based in her assessment of the existential dangers to all humanity that rampant environmental abuse presents.

One was a young blogger concerned with the oppression of girls, especially with regard to education, in an environment of religious extremism - who was noticed by a NY Times journalist and subsequently selected as a symbolic figure by activists including Desmond Tutu. ... and was later shot by a religious extremist for being such a symbol.

The other is a budding, young environmental climate change protest leader / blogger who was similarly noticed by media and environmental activists who have supported her campaign as a symbolic figure. Of course, Greta hasn't been shot by some nut ... yet. So she doesn’t count?

Huh.

Yes, neither of them could have become what they have without being selected and supported by other activists. In fact, isn’t that true of all leaders of movements ... even D. J. Trump?

Wow, a quote from Time Magazine. Oh well. Nothing wins a debate from than a quote from Time Magazine.
She skipped school. Groundbreaking. 4 million people joined a global climate strike. Only got half of the population of 8 million chronic protestors who love any excuse to skip work or welfare line for any protest of climate or social injustice. Not bad... she got at least half.

Re President Trump, well you have some valid criticism there, no doubt. However, still better than any and all alternatives from the left. The left is going so extreme, that the country will vote for anyone who is not of that ilk. I think Trump is proof of my argument, especially using all your criticism, still his support may push him back in 2020.

No, I needed many lol’s to express my mirth.

So, a couple interesting observations about your post reactions here:

1. The quote from Time was one of about a bazillion similar (ok, at least dozens) from quite a range of media.

2. You have acknowledged that Trump’s character stinks ... that he is shallow and boorish and immature. Yet you support him ... which kinda frames you, veritased. And here’s the key difference you miss when you say I “share something special” with the Donald:

my ridiculing denigrations are an assault on a shallow, boorish, immature, vicious bully ...

But, unlike him, I have never acted thus toward an endless list of quality persons, including war heroes, parents of fallen troops, women in general, disabled persons, and any number of other upstanding persons of excellent integrity - just because they do not fall to their knees in obsequious homage.

Your choice of this human garbage as a leadership role model is a fawning, unctuous sycophancy.
