You mean there are farming areas in Missouri with even steeper hills ?

We have hills like that in Minnesota.

Don't farm them.

They've been converted to ski slopes.

If you have an elected official 'supervising' your town, then you are urban.

I was talking about farm country
( yes farm country is considered rural)

I wasn't talking about remote swampland.

How can anyone 'consider' it farm country when it is so urban?

As for swamp, I have no idea, you may live in a swamp if you wish to. I do not know anyone in a swamp, but hey good luck.

I'm sure that was a dig at me, cuz you know Florida is just one big patch of swamp.
Just like Missouri is one big rocky hill.

Ooops, so sorry, I was just trying to figure out exactly what the urban farmer was trying to say there.

May God bless you

Now other than having: elected city officials to 'supervise' you, building inspectors to keep you from harming yourself, and higher taxes; is there any thing else that really defines urban?

Maybe population density? Is a county with a population density of 5 people per square mile, or 10 people per square mile, or 20, high closely packed do folks need to be to define urban?
