No your not what? Oh, never mind. If you were responding to my post I will ask how buying an extra can of beans at the store equals not having a life. Take a walk in a park. Yes, man's little homemade piece of nature in the city. Why not walk in the woods and explore nature. You might even spy some wild berries or grains. The media isn't creating these high gas and food prices are they. I don't need TV or the paper. Common sense is a wonderful thing. What can it hurt to have some extra food? If nothing else you can give it to the soup kitchen if it starts to gather dust. Or you can beg, if that scenario presents itself. You never know.

Well, God willing there will never be a need for any of us to have food stores and supplies. But if that day comes, you can share with me for a while. But you will have to help work in the garden. No free rides!

Reads2much,

I didn't even notice you were the OP. Have you taken my advice since we last chatted and read more books?

Sorry 123, but as I told you before I'm sure my reading habits far surpass yours. And I see you are just a witty as ever! Not very! Noticed you didn't respond at all to my questions. Not surprised. Stick your head back in the sand and wait for the wave to hit. You seem happy there.

Nah - I'm so far out in the rural area - we will survive.

And, that day ain't coming -

And, if "it" does - we will survive - I have my own water supply - my own electric supply. I can go in the hills behind me and do a little huntin'

And, while everyone else is out panicking - I'll be by the pool having an adult beverage or two

Well see, then you are prepared for the possibilities. More so than a lot of people.
