Also saw the nice temps on Friday. One last tease of Spring???
Maybe not the last tease. Saw a 58 in Tampa the first part of June before. Think it was in 1980.

Oh you're going to love that portable AC, we have one in my mother's room. She sleeps in the "Arizona" room and it get's hotter than the rest of the house. I think it's a 10K BTU that we got her. Anyway it cools that room down to low 70's on a 115 degree day!

Is this great weather today, or what? I feel as if I've been given a reprieve.

Just got back from a short but glorious walk. That wind is brisk, to say the least. The little lake was all rippled, ducks bobbing up and down, and the tree branches whipping around, cirrus clouds, sun on my face. Heaven!

All this talk about dewpoints and humidity and sea breezes and 'feels like' temps is making me pay more attention to the weather report on my app.

Dammit, I miss the days when ignorance was bliss and all I cared about was the temp. No more just looking at the pretty (or dismal) pictures, now I have to think!

Mine too. The household just got done with an illness, so it is the perfect time to air out with all that wind out there. Watch out for dropping tree parts if you are outside. I am staying in the sun on a day like today. No shade for me.

Pay attention to dew points. Disregard "feels like", as it feels different to everyone. The feels like has never applied to us, but the dew point always has.
