a portable ac? that looks pretty cool

I'm not bringing the one I have now when I move, it's really old so I'm guessing I need to invest in a couple assuming the place I rent doesn't have ac.

Just the main A/C in my house won't cool worth a crap, won't get below 82 in my room on summer days 90 or higher. Got a guy coming today to give me a price on a new 15 seer system. The portable A/C cools my room to 74 in no time.

I would much prefer that type of unit than a window one...how big of a room is that good for or are there different models for different sized rooms?

It's good for around 350 sq ft. They are many brands from 5000 BTU's and up over 12000 BTU's. Just i have a plasma tv, amps and computer in the bedroom and they all add heat.

highly recommend shopping around on the 15 SEER. I had one put in last year and it is top of the line. But I could have saved a couple thousand by going with the same 15 SEER, but a different brand name.

Pretty rainy, sloppy and windy right now, but I understand that by Friday we are in for some GREAT weather! Even a possibility of 50s and 60s at night! Looks like the AC can be turned off for a few days. What a gift!

We were nailed today here in Land O Lakes. I used the application Weather Bug on my Smartphone. I enjoy it because of the RADAR and the 10 day Outlook.

Was surprised to see 100% T-Storm and Rainshower Forecast today. Almost never, even see the 100%. But they have seemed to hit.

Also saw the nice temps on Friday. One last tease of Spring???
