UT can apply to the SEC and they would open the door. There's nowhere Texas can't go. if need be they can remain Indepent and still play a solid schedule of teams.

Whorns have never been know to play nice, so no they're probably limited to where they can go. Only reason the ACC is even being brought up is to keep that boondoggle of a network.

Texas looks out for Texas, just like Nebraska, OU, A&M, Baylor, TT, et al look out for themselves.

You want more money? Then win more games.

A&M seems like they're whining because they missed out on more $$ after theey turned down UT's offer to join them in building a network.

I have yet to hear an aggy on any board give a cogent answer to that.

Before you shoot your keyboard off any further, note which SWC schools were the worst offenders:

NCAA Probation and College Football « SportsDelve.com

The evil tu served only 3 years total probation with NO bowl bans, A&M served 9 years with 4 (that's FOUR) bowl bans.

Not to mention SMU.

Note OU's record too, FWIW.

And now the ACC has slammed the door shut in UT's face. Obviously everybody is tired of UT's silly antics and backstabbing ways.
The whorns will now spend the next week begging the PAC 12 to let them come play. Running out of options, where's Dan Beebe, maybe he has some ideas lol

UT is looking to cash in on ALL of its sports programs and the ACC seems like the biggest ticket seller. Football, Basketball, Baseball.
