I agree Rakin! Maybe the heat and bugs will scare 'em off. The Okies can stay.

OK we can include Oklahome since it's now a suburb of Dallas. But they've got to get their shots and quit stealing our good football players.

While the traffic and waits at restaurants are annoying, I think it's good that we are getting people to move here who are more open minded and willing to bring new talents to the state. People who are willing to relocate are generally more tolerant and willing to meet new people. My neighbors who are from elsewhere are far more friendly than the native Texans. If we want our new residents to embrace Texas' culture, we need to welcome them and show them why it's great to live here. Not resent them and thus make them want to change the way it is here.

oh yes we are ..... just not as severe as some other parts of the country.....

actually though, from what i recall about your posts in another thread, you may want to look in the columbia area.... smaller town, but major university and medical center there........

Plentiful. Just go to Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed and type in "writer" and Fort Worth or Dallas (or Austin, or Houston) for the location. But don't compete with me!!

Didn't Texas acquire a ghastly number of people from Katrina and along with them, more crime? If I remember correctly, it was like 250,000.
