That's pretty dang impressive. I change my vote. Houston wins the skyline debate. I still think Dallas has more unique buildings for what it has, but Houston overall is more impressive. I vote Houston.

the brownest ive ever seen Houston was during the summertime a couple years ago, when there was a bad drought. i flew in from Florida and couldnt believe how brown all the grass looked from the sky.
Oh ok.

My neighbor's grass is always green during the year but once winter hits, it goes from a lush green to a light brown. She stops tending to her yard because there's nothing you can do for it to turn green again. We have more freezes and more winter weather than Houston so nothing is gonna be green.

I remember we had a few weeks of spring like weather. I saw flowers blooming and trees starting to sprout leaves. The next day we had thundersnow, everything died.

Eww? It's a shot of the skylines all merged together, taken from the industrial ship channel side of town, and many of the trees have lost their leaves? Sorry the east side of Houston isn't pretentious like most of Dallas. It would be like the equivalent of taking a photo of the Dallas skyline from south Dallas in the winter.

Dallas has its not so attractive looking parts too. But nowhere in Dallas is a skyline view like that.

This doesn't even include Greenspoint and The Woodlands.

I just wasn't impressed with that photo. That picture just did nothing for me. There was no shock and aw about it whatsoever. I think it’s the worse picture I have ever seen of H-Town. Maybe if the skyline was located by the water I would be like wow. If anything this picture sort of helps the theory that a skyline does not make a city great.
