She is sharing her story to help other victims of abuse. She is doing this because she wants to do it. She does not need any money as she received a settlement of $20 million from the state of CA due to their role in not properly monitoring parole Garrido. The state gave this money to her to avoid a lawsuit.
You are seriously twisted to think that she enjoyed her time with these people and was jealous of the attention that they gave to her daughter. It really isn't that difficult to understand why she didn't flee her captors. She was manipulated and abused by these people. Haven't' you ever heard of Stockholm syndrome?

And they don't have their lives ripped away by predators that were under the supervision of the criminal justice system that failed completely to investigate credible claims and obvious signs of trouble. It's no different than a payout to someone wrongfully accused and jailed because a DA failed to disclose evidence that would have exonerated them. The government failed in a monumental way, and as a result, a person suffered greatly.
And if you think doctors are all getting rich, think again. Some are, but overall most are living an upper middle class lifestyle at best.

then do it for free dont shop till you get the biggest bucks. SHe may be innocent but her mother is pimping her daughters story an ONLY for big bucks if your going to help people you dont pimp your story. you do it for free helping comes from the heart an soul not the wallet.

How far do you think $20 Million will last for a family who will need a lifetime of intense therapy? She will also never be able to hold down a regular job for so many reasons. If she can make money by selling her story, more power to her. She was the victim. She needs to make money somehow.
