I tend to post more during the cold months when dreaming of the AZ sunshine........

I grew up in Fitchburg and had many friends throughout my life in Townsend, nice place but thinking Arizona will be nicer. Wish you luck and maybe we will meet there.

And waiting for the market to go up; when that happens it will probably being going up here also. I know things are slow all over compared to normal, but there are still a lot of homes being bought and sold every month. There were over 1100 closed transactions here in Tucson in March, down from historical numbers, but still that's a lot of homes. If it doesn't sell over the summer or fall, then hunker down for another winter Just food for thought! But just maybe you could be working on your tan here next January instead of shoveling snow in MA!
No jobs there in my field currently.......

Michele what does your husband do for Raytheon? I am a mechanical engineer. Maybe I could get a lead from him ha ha ha.

Our home is officially listing tomorrow. The realtor closes on 25 homes a month average for the past 6 months.......so hopefully we are listing low enough....

Oro Valley will be a fair commute according to Tucson standards depending where Mike will work. If he works at the facility beyond the airport that would be long commute. Oro Valley has new housing, the foothills are nice but can be overrated. The East side seems laid back . Right now we're renting in Civano just because it ended up being a good fit for renting, but I would not buy here. Alot of the houses we've looked at haven't been updated in years, (decades) and some sellers haven't come to terms with the fact that it's a buyers market. I would rent for at least 6 months, just to get a feel for the area, and watch the market.

I will be working in Oro Valley. So the commute will be great. Looking at rental prices and our wants though I am not sure they match up well.

I was told to look N - NW of Ina.......Now how should that be pronounced? I think it should be Eena....or should it Ina (hard "I"). I have heard both.....
