I agree. They should really have two seasons in a year. The seasons are too short as it is.

Here's a little something I found about how British TV works, and why. I agree though, the seasons are much too short compared to what we have here in the U.S.

British shows don't have to churn out a bunch of shows a season like most US writers are required to, and I think that is a big reason why British shows have a higher quality about them. The cost to fans of a show is a shorter season, but waiting creates excited anticipation for the next season. Thanks for sharing the article!
