I might give it a go sometime.
Yeah about the only thing she has done that is beyond what a good PI can do is lift ole dude's Maserati. The rest of the time you can just assume she can pick locks at will instead of breaking them or really good at fighting.

However the scene in the interrogation room was cool because you get a sense of her strength when she gets mad...like she's always holding back.

I just don't understand why she didn't punch Kilgrave's heart out when he's standing so close to her in the police station.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't someone maybe it was Kilgrave , mention something about if anything should happen to him that there would be a price? For instance if he died others would die to like some sort of last revenge.

My wife and I started watching it and it wasn't bad. In fact it was better than Daredevil which has been hyped up a bit.

JJ is terrible. Actorship is primitive. The so called "fighting scenes" are even more primitive, producers put little to no effort into even trying to make them at any level reasonable. Unnecessary and pretty useless sexual innuandos. As usual, some twisted psychotic characters.
Also, main character has very poorly nose job done. They really tried to make it look like pleasant turned up nose and it looks like longer version of what MJ had.
I honestly tried to make it through 7 parts and am tired of it. Junk. DD is much much better show. D'Onofrio's acting is beautiful, man put out great character.

I don't think JJ was bad it was good but DD was DAMN good! Has you stated D' Onofrio's acting was over the top. I am hoping the second season of JJ will be better. A lot better. DD's support cast was great however I started to Karen's character I wanted to punch her, because she nosed around & got people killed. Again GREAT cast!

hmm, you seem to be at odds with the critics about the acting - I've seen almost universal praise for David Tennant (especially), Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter. I agree that D'Onofrio was terrific as The Kingpin, and I also liked the guy that was his assistant/translator a lot as well.

Oh, I googled Krysten Ritter and plastic surgery and most articles seem to thinks she has had none, while a few others said it was a maybe.

I agree that the fight scenes in JJ were not great, but it was not an essential part of the show like they were with Daredevil. Would have been nice to see her do more than jumping and breaking locks, though.

D'Onofrio was over the freaking top good! We only saw hints of this outsized acting abilities when he played Det. Goren on Law & Order Criminal Intent.
