The series finale of "The Shield" has stuck with me for many years. Vic sort of gets away with it, Dutch sort of gets his man, and Shane pays the price for 7 seasons of Vic's behavior.
Most recently, "Two Storms" which is the 6th episode of "The Haunting of Hill House" is one of the best acted, best directed and emotionally intense episodes of any TV series I've ever seen. All TV should be this good. I was actually a little disappointed in what otherwise was a very good "Haunting of Bly Manor" because nothing in that series approached the brilliance of "Two Storms."
My grandmother was a huge M.A.S.H. fan and it aired every weeknight after the evening news when I was a kid. I was a very literate 10 year old when I first saw "Abyssinia, Henry" and was struck by the power of it even at that young age. Later in life of course I learned that the reactions in the final shot were genuine and that only Gary Burghoff knew what was going on when it was filmed.
This might be more about fashion, but the episode of Sex and the City, when Carrie’s boyfriend, Baryshnikov, stands her up in Paris and she falls asleep in the most beautiful gown I’ve ever seen. Every time I watch it, the dress makes me cry.
That is a great scene and pretty dress. So glad Big went there to bring her home.

I thought for sure Vic was going to shoot himself.
For me it was the episode of the original Wonder Year, when Kevin and Winnie first kissed. I am currently rewatching this show again. And I still love it.
yes, 10th episode of the 5th series of the re-boot
