Hello. So on 1/31 I was let go from my job. I was a office clerk. My office manager ask me to do a favor for her and run to the bank to deposit some checks for the company. When I was on my way to the bank I was involved in a car accident (first car accident ever!) once the police were called and on their way I called my office manager and told her what had just happened. I was traumatized by the accident. Once the police report was made I called my office manager and ask if I could go home due to me just being involved in a car accident and she told me not to come back at all and hung up. On 2/3 I filed my unemployment claim. Had my interview on 2/27 and my account keeps telling me it’s still pending. I have never been on unemployment so I don’t know what to expect. Please help. Thanks in advance!!
I'm new to the process myself and others more experienced members may chime in later. It would be helpful if you mention your state where you are claiming unemployment benefits. Wish you the best outcome for you!
I wish you luck!! The stress is so unbearable at this point. I feel like I am about to have a mental break down. To even call them for any updates is a nightmare in itself.
Hang in there..I understand this is stressful. Hopefully it would result in a positive outcome for you!
