If I don't hear anything by 2 weeks after a interview, I just use common sense and realize I was not selected. A employer will never FORGET to contact someone they want. Only someone they DON't want

Maybe yes, maybe no!

If it is a job i really wanted, it is nice to be told we selected someone else.

But if it is a small business person, calling back will convince them you really want the job. And yes, unbelievable as it sounds, many employers need convincing!!

I really think after all this thinking and talking about jobs over the past two months, is that job hunting is like the vacuum sales person or insurance sales person, who is faced with rejection daily interspersed with successes.

It is not personal! BUT a matter of whether you can you sell yourself? Since as one person pointed out, how do you choose between 20 equally qualified people!

So I guess asking this question at the end of the interview so start being a new thing for me?

"Is there anything else you need to know about me to convince you I'm the right person for this position?"

For some reason, some people keep telling me to make the employer think that you really want the job.

Make the employer think you really can help them achieve their goals.
