We'll see, seems to be alot of misinformation being circulated on this thread. I think some people on here are just making some things up just to get peoples hopes up or to confuse the hell out of them. As for me, I'm just going to wait until they mail me something, whenever that is. They said we would get a letter in the coming days, that was about 12 days ago....what a great organization they are.
.
I couldn't agree anymore! People have no clue what they are talking about!
but me personally until i get a notification in the mail, i won't feel any better
NJ80: When I finished Tier II, most were getting an EB qualification letter, I did not. I started other threads on here for unemployment as it was not organized and although I didn't have all the facts, just questions, answers, research and I found it out. So when I finished Tier II, I called UI office and they verified I was in the system for EB, so I continued with benefits. This is a little different, not all got qualification letters now, but see what happens next week. We can only wait and see.
My friend that works for unemployment told me that people are calling to find out about money when the website specifically said not to call so its slowing down the process. They have limited amount of people working there and machines are not working good!
Its not that I do not believe what people have posted. In fact I have to admit that at least I sleep better, but never have I been so in the dark as far as paperwork goes. Especially when I am supposed to be getting a check in less than a week.

I had no clue when I went on Tier I, so I started a thread and at least I knew others were in the same boat. It's a collection of thoughts, and facts from NJDOL as the information was established sooner than this was.
It's nice to have others to exchange thoughts and info.
This extension went into the legislation of it, which really worked on anxieties. Some of what people posted was from what they were told by unemployment or posted by the media. Yes, there is confusion and contradiction but it is well justified because of the circumstances.
