irman,
I would actually tell people not to move to a certain part of PG, the part between Smiths and Maceys, it was just plain weird, to much of an Us vs Them thing going on (people on both sides were guilty).

I was born and raised in Provo, by the railroad tracks (the "ghetto" part) and I turned out just dandy! I loved growing up there, but I can see it's not for everyone.

You must be in an outlying area of Utah County as the inversion is generally just as bad (and sometimes worse!) in Utah County as in SL County.

We just moved here from Alabama a few months ago. We moved to Saratoga Springs and love it. 90% of my neighbors are LDS. We feel very welcome here. We have not had a problem living in Utah county. Everybody has been more than nice. I have made some really good LDS friends. Don't worry so much about this LDS subject. Life is what you make it. Come in with a good attitude and you will have no problem. One of my neighbors is non LDS with young children and they get invited to every birthday party and whatever else is going on.
