Silly me. I thought I was about to enter into a fun thread where people actually answered the question asked, but that doesn't happen in vegetarian forums. Everyone is an expert in nutrition, but nobody ever agrees with each other.
Its hard to say I got interested in Vegetarianism back at an age when most people don't have a lot of health problems. I was over weight so that was my motivation. I'm wearing pants sized smaller that I wore in high school and that was over thirty years ago. I'm probably the only one of my siblings not on any medication. My last check up was good . The doctor joked that if a bear ate me he would be eating a low cholesterol meal and I would probably live another fifty years.
I did many things in those days in addition to vegetarianism which I think attributes to what ever luck I am having. I am not as strict as I would like to be. I have eaten meat on many occasions over the years to accommodate a host. As a matter of fact most people outside of my family don't know that I am a vegetarian. It not something I think is that significant.
