Pattern is changing to colder temps next week with some snow for VT and NH tonight into tomorrow. The colder air has not been matched well with storms so far.

Yes, according to the latest GFS model run at 6PM. A little wave of energy will move by overnight- it is the current precip you see on the radar in the central Appalachians.

oddly enough, it appears to be dumping harder now than it did all day yesterday. Today they didn't really call for anything but flurries or squawls.

Snow tapering off this afternoon, it seems.
Perhaps another half inch fell today, and since it's around freezing (32) out, it may stick around (and freeze).
Walking yesterday was a bit of a challenge, with icy crunchy top to the little bit of snow here (inch or two).

This was not much of anything for us...I'm sure the mountain did a lot better, I'd say we maybe got 1.5-2" at most...I was hoping for a lot more!

Nice to see others mentioning what a model is showing. Sometimes I don't get around to it. Keep us posted. Did you see what they are showing for this weekend in the Northeast? I always forget where you reside. NH, WI, but your in VT here. lol

Here's the Latest Euro12z model. No, I don't believe this but we'll have to see future updates and this shows that the storm is big enough, juicy enough, and cold enough to drop this amount of snow.

Saturday into Sunday. Some areas might change to rain, some to ice, some stay snow. Have to keep an eye on it.

I'll be headed up to Jeffersonville on Friday and leaving Sunday (mid morning). What do the models show for those times as respect to travel? Friday will not be anything, but Sunday has got me a bit worried.
