Well, I've taken a few pics during my hunting/hiking trips the past several weeks. Here's a few.

Aitken State Forest at 20 below the other day:

While I was at Bird Mountain WMA, I've always liked the shape of this mountain:

Thanks.

It was a bit nippy while 20 below, but between some heavy wool pants, a heavy coat, a fur hat, and some military arctic mittens, I was actually slightly too warm by the time I reached that point...

Which goes to prove that there's no such thing as bad weather - only bad clothing. I got a two mile walk in that night when it got down to -30 here. It was probably about -15 or so when I went out. Dress right and keep moving and you can really enjoy cold temps. It seems that we both do. I love winter and would recommend to anyone to just get out there and enjoy it. And yeah, you can actually heat up! Coming home I put my hand to my wife's face (she's cringing expecting ice cube cold) and it's always warm just like I never left the house.

Yeah. I've camped up there in the NEK when it hit 30 below before. I was fine. I was dressed right and had a good sleeping bag. A lot of people think I'm crazy for going outside in that sort of weather but it just requires being prepared for it. The woods and mountains are beautiful in the winter, and there's no bugs either.
