Got acouple more from this morning..... big big change from last week for the worse, but it is almost april.

Found a tiny break in the clouds on an otherwise very gray day.




coming down Mt Ellen 1st day after closing.

yea we are not doing bad at all really. For the time of year and for how much it has rained, this is really decent.

yesterday was a pretty amazing day for skiing--surprisingly, a lot of places on the mountain didn't even soften up--maybe today? I got there late, so most people were already drinking beer

However--- just a few minutes later you'd see a line of 25+ people trying to get a last chair at 4pm.

This is probably the same picture of what i have already posted a few times, but this time with more than 2 people down below:

I saw similar holes in a tree on a hike in northwestern CT last spring and had no idea what they were. Someone mentioned it was a pileated woodpecker.
