Color change has only just begun here (SE VT), photo taken today:

It actually is a bit more orange-y yellow than this photo makes it seem,
but I couldn't seem to capture the color exactly as it appears to my eye with the camera.

Interesting. Are most trees like that or are others changed more? I posted photos from this mornings trip in the Fall Photo Thread much more color an hour north of me but much behind last year

If I remember correctly Cloven is in Brattleboro which in a valley area. Valley areas turn later. There is color up in the mountains!

Cool. Yeah, seeing spotty activity everywhere which is natural I guess. With this seasonable /warm spell we're getting things are slow to progress now.

Speaking of valleys. :-)

Yup, I'm in the southeast valley of Brattleboro-I'm sure if I were up in Wilmington (higher elevation) the foliage would be advanced.
The pic I posted was from out my window. Will try to take some shots of other trees since they are a bit more multi-colored.
Was just trying to convey that the foliage here (in my location) isn't yet "there" (near peak)-but give it a week or two...

This was yesterday morning...it definitely is more colorful in real life lol. I'd say we're pretty close to peak...just kind of came out of nowhere.
