Technically, these are of NH-but that's the view to the east from Brattleboro downtown, and thus is part of the sights visible from here (in VT).
Photos taken yesterday, from bridge over CT River (border between VT & NH). As you can see, there's some color change-though there's more to come.

Took a ride up to Trapps this afternoon...it was overcast but man....peak foliage everywhere. It's just incredible. As others have said, the photos don't do it justice.

I find it funny that folks will drive through the parking lot, take a photo and leave. One couple in their car asked me if where I was standing was a good view (it was, but I was waiting on someone to go for a ride) and I said, "yeah, but it's even better if you actually go out there" lol.

Road on the way to Trapps...

Road on the way home...

Lastly...the maple in our front yard.

Nice! Oh yeah, you're peaking there. If you're curious how it looks down here I posted a photo from today. Hope it's ok to link. Always fun to compare how far ahead you guys are from the coast here.

And that's funny, sounds like something I would say too. LOL.

Love the 1st and Dirt Road pics the best.

tkln....thanks for posting those pics. Autumn is really working its way in.

Spent many summer evenings enjoying music from that stage.

I love that view looking up Nebraska Notch from Trapp's. Thanks for sharing!

Stunning color this year. Unfortunately recent rain has knocked some of the leaves off the trees. Today's drive was a mixed bag. The drive on East Warren Road from Waitsfield to Warren was stunning and will be on my foliage drive every year. Trees lining the Lincoln gap road were shot, but ok vista scenery. Downtown Bristol was
absolutely stunning and seemed to be trapped in a time warp. Some of the most blazing reds and oranges I've ever seen with full trees in mid-stage.

One of my best shots ever. I was actually thinking about trying to sell it to the Town of Bristol for $25.

I think this is going to be it up here for us...the rain has knocked quite a bit off the trees.
