I just learned that King County and the state are at a mutual understanding of this meaning that the state knows people in King County want masks but other counties are more than willing to ditch them. State knows that some counties are actually more than ready to give them the finger. This is just like the school reopening crapp all over again. My district still hasn’t said it’s bringing kids back in the fall. Although I did JUST get an email an hour ago that summer school will be in-person. The district made it sound like such important news affecting so many kids (nope... just failing high schoolers):

I read the state is agreeing with the CDC. Just adds more confusion.
The CDC....a bureaucratic organization with an $11 billion dollar annual budget.

Is that supposed to sound like a lot of money? Does their budget have anything to do with anything?

payoffs / future employment outside of government.

Tough to find anything CDC has done correctly during Covid. USA response is tragic in comparision to most of the world. Western Europe also got bonked due to complacency considering we all had a LOT of preliminary notice and the ACTIVE and accurate responses and data of neighboring nations to China. China is pretty safe (3 vs 1800+(USA) deaths / mil). Friends, including USA citizens (profs, teachers, and engineers) have been safe and well cared for in China during Covid.

It would have been easy for CDC to listen...
USA 33,898,216 cases 604,113 DEAD. Many due to CDC muffing (manipulatiung) the 'story'. (Some investigative reports credit CDC with 40+% of USA deaths)

It's not science, it's not fact! (CDC)

Yet the sheep are still following the story line, as if there was an ounce of validity or credibility.

There is not.

It's just a show / mirage / CTA.

My understanding is you like to get on a plane every other week and go to one of many homes. You seem to like your freedom as most other Americans like theirs. So it’s curious to me that you go on and on about how great China is or was when freedom to even leave the home, for months, was completely stripped away. How can you justify this contradiction?

Actually don’t answer that. So many of us have pointed it out time and time again. Just be aware that we recognize your hypocrisy and therefore don’t take much of what you say seriously.

Furthermore, it doesn't even make sense how CDC could be responsible for deaths. Response was mostly at the state/local level.

Sure, guidance initially said don't bother masking, but that was changed.

The problem with the US is that we have entirely too many people that care only about freedom and nothing at all for their responsibilities. We currently have far too much vaccine hesitancy. These made a bad problem far worse than it had to be.

Yeah, all those goofy people who don’t want to take an experimental vaccine who’s approval process has only been used one time before. The same people that have more percentage risk from the vaccine than Covid are so selfish for not taking it! Who cares about the weird effects it’s having on pregnant women that were never tested, or enlarged hearts in teenagers the CDC is now studying. I mean the media has done a great job making us all hysterically worried about Covid while at the same time downplaying any clearly non linked and non proven side effects from the experimental vaccine. Their body their choice only works when it doesn’t harm other people (hey wait a minute)......

Down with those thinking for themselves! Just offer more money to get it at their risk so I’m more protected! Man they are so selfish right?
