I've been following the weather since 2008. First accumulating snow in 2008 and 2010 were in late November, in 2009 it was mid-December and in 2011 (actually 2012) it was in friggin February. So I'd say an early December first snow is rather normal.
Need to do some research.
Some more seasonable air is filtering into Northern Colorado. Although it seems like a cold wave, with tonight's colder temperatures, we are ONLY GETTING BACK TO NORMAL. This just goes to show how much above normal we have been and for such a long time.
