Time frame is Thursday morning ends by Friday afternoon. We'll know details like snow totals better tomorrow morning. This could be a widespread 6-12" event for many. Lots of moisture!

And these might be the temps the next morning Saturday morning according to GFS.

Before this storm hits the East Coast, it's going to effect the Midwest... Potential snowfall totals for Chicagoland.

High snow ratio folks. Doesn't take much precip for a lot of snow but chances are we're getting near an inch liquid. WOW

from the HPC, looks like about 3/4-1" of precipitation.

Looks right. Latest gfs showed less. Hope that's not a trend.

1" liquid is 10 inches of snow at 10:1 ratios. But with temps in teens and 20s I think ratios will be higher for most of the event. Areas that do get an inch liquid should see over a foot for sure

Wow, you guys really know your stuff! First post in this forum, and I have a question: as a snow lover in Providence, how big could this be here? I want a HUGE storm, a paralysing storm of the century. What do you predict?
