This weather is great for spring. I hope the cooler air just keeps on coming. So very dry, too. Only thing is it's ripe for fires... Quite a few forest fires have been in the news here recently. Another new one in Cumberland County today.

Yeah I'm enjoying the cool and windy conditions. Interesting mix of sun and clouds today too. Just need some rain to mitigate the fire threat.

We got some rain yesterday, though the storm was very short-lived. Some thunder last night around 8 PM with a rather heavy downpour that lasted no more than 5 minutes.

If this happens, I will probably freeze to death overnight. Actually, it shows -6C in southern Ireland, so I'm certain it won't.

Well there goes any chance of a positive monthly anomaly this spring... Euro does an about face on any warmth at least through mid May

Quote:

The model has trended cooler over the eastern half of Canada for May, but there also seems to be a higher uncertainty than usual with a lack of strong upper-level features showing up across the Northern Hemisphere during May.
I would expect this model to continue to lean more toward above-normal temperatures from Alaska and down the Pacific coast through at least early summer as sea surface temperatures in the northeast Pacific will likely remain well above normal.

Update on the Long Range - Canadian Weather Blog Weather Blog

April will very likely be below average, making it the 6th month in a row....

I don't know maybe we will see some sustained warm starting after the middle of May... Won't hold my breather though

Oh Please , I live in Jersey.

My location got 70" of snow this entire winter, and this was in my front yard. Not some random hill several miles away .

"Native to cold", and "Your Country". What's this stupidity all about Owen.

This is Where I live as a full time resident, Nuff said :

And FYI, portions of northern India do get snow every winter.

I cant believe you are so stupid and fail to Read the portion that clearly mentions "CNJ Frost Hollow".
