Some pictures taken yesterday. The vegetation is really enjoying the warm, wet and cloudy weather, and so are the mosquitoes, especially among the Sava river.
^^ Where's the uniform blue sky gone? I won't brag tho, it's worse here. Menacing sky:
Got drenched shorty after. I was only wearing a t-shirt, wished I had something else to put on with the cold rain a chilly temps (11°C and windy at that moment):
Someone likes bric a brac. The house opposite was in the same style.

Pollen in one of the reasons, but when I looked closer, higher up the small leaves looked nice and green, but further down already bone dry and drying out. Those cherries looked like they're really suffering.
The rainfall total is still less than 14mm for April, and just some 1.5mm fell during the latter half of March. And as we had no snowpack to speak of, there weren't any excess moisture to suck up from the soil either.
Have no idea where to put this... too beautiful not to share..

"Yosemite this morning. Some Sierra locations received over 2 feet of fresh snow!"
Such a beautiful place, especially with all that snow.
Has anyone around here climbed that thing? I did so back in 2001 - nearly fell of that thing coming back down...lol. The scary point is looking down from that little lip at the top, where it's about a mile straight down - whew!

Forgot about the snowpack, big difference from here. Here some small trees (don't remember the name) have yellow leaves when they're blooming. Not birches nor cherries tho.
Straight out of the camera JPEG's, didn't feel like shooting RAW and editing when the landscape is so bare...
