Ambient temperature definitions vary by locations. In most of Europe, its 18 C (64 F). In North America, its 22 C (72 F). In Australia its 25 C (77 F). In India, its quite hot and set at 27 C (81 F).

For me, its 24 C (75 F). I cant even imagine a UK or US person in an 81 F room. They would most likely pass out.

Uh, not me LOL.

My old house in Windsor had very good heating (and a mild climate) and it used to get boiling in there (in winter), upper 20's Celsius. Summer would reach 30°C. It depends on lots of things.

My flat in Lincoln would be around 27°C in summer.

Just this real old stone building with 1,000 year old windows is about the same temperature as outside which = cold.

Summer: 22c to 27c in central air conditioned house.

Winter: 17c to 19c in central heated house.

Furnace is turned on mid october to end of april
Air conditioning is turned on late may to mid september

Only brief 2 to 4 week transition periods with no heating or A/C
Windows rarely opened, usually only spring and fall.

In summer I like 75 or 74 with no ceiling fan. When there is a fan 75-77 is nice in most situations.
In winter I like it upper 60s close to 70.

Air conditioning is used less in Europe, summer indoor temperatures can be rather warm. I assume 75°F is your maximum indoor temperature. I've been in plenty places inside that are 81°F though not set to 81°F.

I woke up once from the cold when the indoor temperature dropped to 71°F (22°C). Fan was blasting on me, was sleeping without a shirt or sheet. Wasn't expecting a temperature that cold.

Had room temp at 81/27C today. Probably highest all year. little breeze helped but the Dog was panting and I was feeling too warm so a/c went on.

Now rooms are 65-67F/18-19.4C. Beautiful and comfy inside.

I don't know how u guys do it without a/c.
