While I go buy the calendar, Here in upstate New Yawk, I don't expect to "see spring" until MAY, regardles what the calendar says, as spring, to me, is warmer than usual days and blossoms blossoming everywhere and pollen in the air...making me close all the windows and turn on the A/c on a high setting to keep cool in the house while keeping the dreaded pollen out that bothers us so much.

Now if it doesn't "get here" until MAY, I am not disappointed, and if it "arrives earlier", I am pleasantly surprised!

Still spring IS that time of transition between the dead of winter and the high heat of summer...so you have to expect cold and snow early on ,and some hotter days later in the 3 months of "spring".

This has been a LOOOOONG and harsh winter...so spring will be hard fought...but if any consolation the maple trees are tapped{!}, but the sap won't flow unless over 32F, and that appears hard to get up to for the next week at least. A sign surely that spring is on its way!
