As the largest city on Earth Tokyo gets humid subtropical (cfa)

Whether London or Paris is bigger depends on where you consider the boundary of the city to be; strictly Paris is only department 75 (much smaller than London) but if you include the surrounding contiguous built up area it is about the same size as Greater London. Parts of Greater London on the other hand are often thought of as separate towns (Croydon, Romford) so if you exclude them it could be smaller than greater Paris. (Those two examples I gave are often still considered to be in Surrey and Essex respectively).
Delhi runs Guangzhou close for the Cwa title, again it seems to be where exactly the city is defined.
Karachi seems to be the biggest arid city with 23 million, had no idea it was that big.
Archangelsk does seem to be the Dfc winner, but only recently. Murmansk used to be, but has seemingly lost a lot of people recently (468,000 in 1989 but 307,000 in 2010).
