Niagara Falls recorded 15.6°C/60F this afternoon (warmer than Austin, Texas). Temperatures have dropped quickly since then, it is currently 5°C/41°F.

too cold to open the windows at 55°F unless the day was warm. It's been a while since I've experienced 70s...

It sure is. Energy from the gulf that hits south Alabama and southwest Georgia often loses its punch by the time it gets here. That didn't happen this time.

On a side note the rain has calmed somewhat in the last two hours. Rain is expected to continue tomorrow with temps in the 50s.
