I almost can't think of a product sold in the US that doesn't use both systems. For example you will see 1 kg (2.2 lbs) or 12 oz (355 ml)

None of the world uses metric time. Even when the current time system is the most "illogical" division of an event ever.

You have to remember that Americans are not very smart so need a system that is very simple and easy to use.

or just prefer to follow the convention. Hard to argue what's more logical. But I find Celsius = inherently better unconvincing.

Most things that don't have a label on it when you buy it are only priced in the English system.
Fresh fruits and vegetables are priced only in pounds.
Petroleum products that are metered or gauged are priced in gallons only (heating oil, gasoline) or pounds only (propane for your grill).

The truth is that America has no history so they latch on to the UK and anything we have.
I went on tours through Washington and constantly the UK was mentioned. Clearly no history..
