I know wikipedia isn't the best website but it has true climate normals for those cities included LGA which is a airport in in the NYC borough of Queens and as you can see in mean temps Philly is just slightly closer to NYC than Baltimore.

Hmm, according to the references, the latest data is 2010. I think that my data is more accurate only because it is more current. But I understand why you would use the website.

I also think that we shouldnt make a big deal out of a couple degrees. For the most part, you can barely feel a real difference.

So overall Philly is slightly closer to NYC than it is to Baltimore. Baltimore is closer to DC in temperature than Philly. But you are correct that Philly has snowfall totals more similar to Baltimore than NYC.

Also is was using temps from NYC's LGA rather than from Central Park becuase Central Park is an enoemous green space in the middle of NYC UHI, so it is hardly representative of the UHI.

Philadelphia is a little closer to NYC than DC overall.
Baltimore is more like DC and Philly more like NYC.

Btw Baltimore's average high in jul. is 89

No it isn't. Compare like to like. Using the warmest station in each city, Philly is closer to DC. I just proved that above.

Use NOAA data for Reagan intl, Franklin Institute, and LGA in NYC. Each of these are the warmest NOAA 30 year climate averages and are the gold standard compared to Wiki or other websites you keep trying to find.

Why do people in NYC constantly try to make it appear warmer than it is?

Why are you completely ignoring my post. You don't know the data. Look at NOAA and stop trying to confuse people. Compare LGA with Franklin Institute NOAA station. Which is Franklin Institute closer to in temps, DC or NYC? Answer that question using NOAA data.

NYC just does not feel as hot as here in summer. And you can notice a couple of degrees in summer.

Sure Philly is closer to DC in summer but in winter it is not. Philly is just about the same as NYC in the winter, but not so with DC, but its hardly a difference anyway.

And about people in NYC trying to make it appear warmer than it is, I think its the opposite.
