I'm talking about Melbourne and southern Vic where it has been a trainwreck. Over here it has been generally good but that is about to end with the latest upcoming polar outbreak which will send temps 6-8C below average for several days.
Yeah his is fine I have no idea why the **** he's complaining about mine. I'm aware it's ****.
Just another case of the "My life will be better if I move to a better climate" mentality. Completely false. Miserable people will be miserable anywhere.

I was just perplexed because he moved out of Melbourne because of the weather and still complains about the weather there. It makes no sense to me

Me neither. Seems to confirm that it was a good decision.
I wish just once that could be the case for me. If I leave Lexington to go to Florida for a week, it never fails that week will have the highest dewpoints of the summer and several afternoons with strong thunderstorms. For 3 summers in a row now, the best stretch of weather here was when I was somewhere else. Truly uncanny.

But certainly there is a higher chance that the weather will be better in Florida at any given time during the summer for you so you wouldn't feel as bad about leaving similar weather behind in Lexington
