We got in a good summer. Don't mind it as much now.
Yeah this summer has been acceptable. Each month was above average. A decent number of hot days. Some good storms. Not as warm as 10' 11' or obviously 2012, but overall proper summer conditions... No complaints here.
I can see dry conditions for upper Midwest, but the Gulf that dry? I would assume tropical systems during a weak La Nina fall would guarantee more precip.

Actually I can't remember a better summer overall. 2010 and 2012 had a lot of dry heat. And although we had extreme dewpoints in July 2011, this year was even more consistent.
I don't expect much out of autumn here. Just please no November 2015 again please. Endless 85/75 days with high humidity and a **** ton of drizzle. A November 2008 would be nice.
I don't expect to get any comfortable weather in September/October. Hopefully some decent tropical storms.

The problem with November 2014 was that the following December was mild and the following January was snowless, so winter seemed to be perpetually a few weeks away. The month itself was good, though.

That's true...on another note, in November 1925, Miami apparently had a day with a high of 75, a low of 65F and FIFTEEN inches of rain
