At least we have the Jersey Shore in the summer

You're forecast 17'C, Uppsala is forecaat 19'C, and so if they're lucky they will not only beat their old 19'C record but also 20'C, which is extremely rare in Sweden; not even Lund has managed that.

No record for us though, only 9'C forecast, though our university station managed 10'C on today's 6'C forecast so you never know...

Yep to get 20C in March and warm temps early on it pretty much has to be in the interior and in built-up areas so the heat can be exaggarated a bit. What then follows is frost (!) nights. I recall a Saturday in late March 2015 in Örebro being 16/-2 or something like that! I was out with a friend biking 70 km that day

What's interesting though, is I don't think a single place west of Växjö (exept Kristianstad) has managed that. Even east coastal Västervik managed 21.8'C (!) whereas slightly inland Lund, with much higher average march highs, only has managed 19.3'C. I wonder why the Swedish east coast is so much more prone to march warmth than the west coast

A lot of broken March records yesterday as well as today!

Uppsala recorded above 19'C today as well, so two days in a row, an almost 300 year old record was beat! A lot of places have recorded above 20'C today, so we'll have to see which places managed to beat their old records.

Just started saving for California next summer! Planning on saving a good chunk.

Want to go for Two months.. Thinking of visiting a whole lot of places: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Death Valley, Phoenix, Las Vegas.

US West Coast is so far away so I can only visit once and a while.
