Awesome! Thanks for posting! The 1st picture is deceiving, looks like a few inches. Definitely looks like low snow ratios, heavy wet.

Check out some totals. I wish I had this kind of day in November. Wow

It has accumulated much deeper away from my immediate area. I suspect that is because the wind has blown it off the flat plains to ditches etc,

Here is how flat my neighborhood is

At the rate it was falling and the number of hours we had white-out condition, I believe at least 8+ inches actually fell, but blew away. It is probably now a 10 foot deep snowdrift a few miles down the road.

Oh yeah, for sure. With no hills or buildings around to protect you, that stuff was just flying and yeah probably huge drifts somewhere. Time to drift chase? lol. It's so hard to measure you literally have to walk around find 4 spots and take an average in situations like that. OR have a snowboard on the ground with walls.

Just dawned on me with the number of lakes near me that is probably where our wandering snow ended up at.

The warm ground may have also had an impact.

Radar loop last 4 hours. Duluth's turn to get hammered. Purple band right over them. Note the Thunderstorms going on in Indiana

East of Madison, MN. Warm ground alert.

Glenwood, MN Heavy wet low ratio snows still stuck to that warm ground.

10-20 inches of fresh snow on top of warm ground after temps were in the 60s just 48hrs ago. 1-2 feet! Wow!
