I posted some conditions in the southeast here: //www.city-data.com/forum/49476000-post1378.html

Must feel really chilly in some of those areas (Myrtle Beach, Birmingham, etc.)

Seeing Savannah and Waycross in the low-mid 60s during the afternoon in September is pretty unusual. Savannah was even 61 F at one point.

In my area, it's now 65 F out at 4:30 PM. People outside are in jackets.

What was the previous record low max? You have to have smashed it by nearly 10 degrees.

Warmest high today in Turkey was 44℃.

Warmest highs today in Turkey:

Nizip: 44℃
Cizre: 42.6℃
Silopi: 42.2℃

Normally, Cizre has the warmest high in Turkey at this time of year but today a different town had the warmest high. And Silopi usually has the second warmest high after Cizre.
