There hasn't been a warmer than normal day in Oklahoma City since I returned to Oklahoma three weeks ago. But Norman has had a few above normal days since then. I really like being able to walk outside in a T-shirt and shorts and not sweat. I'm not looking forward to highs around 90 starting again on Wednesday.
Despite being 6.7 F below normal in OKC and 4.9 F below normal in Norman, the start of September has only been the 11th coldest and 8th coldest respectively.
Good heavens, just look at the time! It's almost summer o'clock!
LMFAO! Took me few seconds to get that. Just had AC on in my car. Felt hot like summer. Give it a couple hours more. lol

Kinda.. Ridge still out west, (80s in Montana)... I'd say its zonal for us or just bland... that's why its not truly hot but is warm (70s). There is a slight bump with the upper level. I guess technically you can call it one?
Trough lifted out over the weekend, currently the dip is in the North Atlantic.
3pmEST temps. Irma clouds all the way to Indiana/Michigan
Down to 66 with a 56 dew at 6 PM. Still mostly sunny.
We finally broke 70 today, reaching a high of 74 after a chilly low of 44. Very very nice early fall day--and next week looks to have plenty of days like this.
