Göle still couldn't get a serious cooling down since All Turkey is still living Summer. Göle started having below freezing lows, unlike July and August but this is not a serious cooling down. Highs are also still very warm.
Nice early fall weather setting up this week. Highs will be around 18-22C with lows in the 8-12C range. Recent runs of the gfs have been very consistent in showing a strong trough hitting the NW early next week. If it verifies, we could be looking at highs struggling to get over 13C for a few days.
Dropped down to a chilly 41 F/5 C this morning, but it felt almost hot this afternoon with a high of 76 F/24 C. That September sun still has some strength to it. We've been spoiled with the cool weather over the last couple weeks.
Coldest september on record in Greensboro, blew previous record out the water. Only 22 cdd and 22 ****ing hdd. Both records... months running 9 degrees below average.
Yup.. They always seem first to get the cold/snow each year so doesn't surprise me it's about to change... 3 weeks was a good run. Maybe its just recent years but always seems like they get frosts, freezes, snow, and the chill first before Northeast.
What's going on over there?
