And BTW....Frost is 2 months away. WOW.
I'm just waiting for the average high to drop into the 80s.

Upper air patterns for the fall and through January according to the Euro. Looks like only October and December will be below normal if this forecast model is correct. September looks warm here and very warm across the Northeast. November looks like a torch for much of the eastern 2/3rds. January looms mild

They forecast a dry and sunny summer for us. So far every month has been wetter and cloudier than normal.

Windstorm threat. In other words, typical autumn here.
I think it will be warmer than usual considering that summer here was a total washout. Winter will be wet and below average, but fewer cold waves.

The last well below average September in Indianapolis was September of 1993, God forbid I say that much of the Midwest and east is long overdue for a significantly cooler than average September

This isn't a winter 2020 thread but I like what the Canadian SIP model is showing

Hate to break this to ya, but I doubt the Midwest will have much at all in the way of snow or ice, just wall to wall barbaric cold waves. Don’t hold me to this opinion though as I admit my
Gut feeling has betrayed me in the past.
